The foundation of a healthy smile
General and family dentistry is the foundation of lifelong oral health. Regular cleanings and exams help us catch issues early — long before they become bigger, more uncomfortable problems — and keep your whole family's smiles strong year after year.
From preventive care to tooth-colored fillings, we bring everything your family needs together in one welcoming place. Using digital X-rays and intraoral cameras, we make exams fast and clear, and our care is always gentle and judgment-free. Kids are warmly welcome.

Questions
General & family dentistry FAQ
How often should I get a checkup and cleaning?
For most patients, every six months is ideal. Regular checkups and cleanings let us catch small issues early and keep your teeth and gums healthy. If you have gum concerns or other risk factors, we may suggest visits a little more often.
At what age should my child first see a dentist?
We recommend a first dental visit around your child's first birthday, or whenever their first tooth appears. Early visits help your little one get comfortable with the dentist and let us guide healthy habits from the very start.
What happens at a routine exam?
We review your health history, check your teeth, gums, and bite, and take digital X-rays when needed. We screen for decay, gum disease, and other concerns, then complete a professional cleaning and talk through anything we find.
Do you treat the whole family?
Yes. We care for patients of every age, from young children to seniors. Bringing the whole family to one welcoming office makes scheduling easier and helps everyone build lifelong healthy smiles together.

Preventive care beyond a routine checkup
Tell us about sensitive gums, persistent dry mouth, bad breath, or teeth grinding. Our team can evaluate these concerns and discuss care suited to their causes, including gum treatment and follow-up care.
- Gum care: Deep cleaning and follow-up visits may be recommended after your gum evaluation.
- Custom mouthguards: Ask about protection for sports or nighttime grinding.
- Digital planning: Digital X-rays, intraoral cameras, and 3-D digital impressions help us assess your needs and explain treatment options. Digital impressions can be used when planning restorations or aligners.
